100% lyocell (TENCEL®) sateen from Tokoencit, Indonesia (Lenzing fibre)

Lyocell is an environmentally friendly fibre when made by Lenzing under the brand name Tencel® (and ours is!). Tencel is made by dissolving eucalyptus wood pulp into a non-toxic solvent that is spun into fibres using a closed-loop process that recovers over 99% of the solution for future use. The process is optimised with renewable energy and saves heaps of water when compared to cotton production.
